The Exorithm Privacy Policy describes how we treat personal information when you use Exorithm, including information entered into Exorithm.

Personal Information

  • Account activity. You need an Exorithm Account to create algoritms in Exorithm. Exorithm asks for some personal information when you create an Exorithm Account, including your email address and a password, which is used to protect your account from unauthorized access. Exorithm’s servers automatically record certain information about your use of Exorithm. Similar to other web services, Exorithm records information such as account activity (e.g., storage usage, number of log-ins, actions taken), data displayed or clicked on (e.g., algorithms, links), and other log information (e.g., browser type, IP address, date and time of access, cookie ID, referrer URL).
  • Cookies. When you visit Exorithm, we send one or more cookies – a small file containing a string of characters – to your computer or other device that uniquely identifies your browser. We use cookies to track your session activity.
  • Content. Exorithm stores, processes and maintains your algorithms (as well as previous versions of your algorithms), sharing lists, and other data related to your account in order to provide the service to you.
  • User communications. When you send email or other communications to eXorithm, we may retain those communications in order to process your inquiries, respond to your requests and improve our services.
  • Legal Disclaimer. Though we make every effort to preserve user privacy, we may need to disclose personal information when required by law wherein we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a current judicial proceeding, a court order or legal process served on our Web site.

Uses

  • We use this information internally to deliver the best possible service to you, such as improving the Exorithm user interface and maintaining a consistent and reliable user experience.
  • Algorithms you create, upload, or copy to Exorithm may be read, copied, used and redistributed by people you know or by people you do not know. You should not include sensitive personal information in algorithms, such as social security numbers, financial account information, home addresses or phone numbers.
